Through boughs of dark and golden hue
Beyond the gleaming moon and stars
Lies a lost forest over the mountain
A forest of dreams and lost encounter
Never revealed to us
It’s said to have
legendary jewels such
but such stories have faded.
The forest is roamed by
graceful beings of air and dance
Petals of snow blossoms flutter down
Only, it’s said, only children can enter
the enchanted forest.
Once more, they open the gates
made of ruby and diamond and copper.
Only they can reveal the lost forest.
